Who operates WatchF1

WatchF1 is an independent fan directory and community project operated by the team behind Air Fresh Marketing. Contact the WatchF1 team at hello@airfreshmarketing.com. This is our current working contact while a dedicated WatchF1 mailbox is being established.

Information we receive

• For email updates: your email address, selected city, consent choice and time, and the page where you signed up.
• For venue and community requests: the name, business contact details, public venue address and website, role, city and message you provide.
• Our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser/device details, request times and technical logs to deliver and secure the service.
• If you choose analytics, Google Analytics receives information about visits and selected site interactions.

Please do not submit payment information, identity documents, sensitive personal information or private details about other people.

How we use information

We review submissions, reply to requests, maintain venue listings, deliver updates you choose, and protect the site from abuse. Submitting a venue or community request does not sign you up for marketing emails. We do not publish subscriber addresses or private contact details. Public venue details submitted for a listing may be published after review.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent for optional analytics and requested email updates, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and responding to requests about the directory, subject to your applicable rights. We may also process information when required by law.

Some signup forms ask how you found WatchF1. This optional answer is stored with your submission so we can understand which community links are useful. A partner link may preselect an answer that you can change or clear.

Service providers and outside links

Vercel hosts the site. Formspree and Resend process submissions and email notifications. Resend also stores WatchF1 subscription preferences and a do-not-contact list. WatchF1 marketing emails include an unsubscribe link; opening the link displays a confirmation, and confirming it saves your preference. Mailbox one-click unsubscribe requests also save that preference. Incoming WatchF1 email may be processed by Resend and forwarded to our team; notifications also reach Air Fresh Marketing team inboxes. These providers may retain service records under their own arrangements. Google Analytics is loaded only when you accept optional analytics. Most site pages also request fonts from Google Fonts; that service receives connection information such as your IP address when delivering fonts. Public race information is fetched from external race-data services.

Providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Links to venues, ticket providers and community groups lead to independent services with their own privacy practices. WatchF1 does not take their bookings or payments. We do not sell your form information or provide subscriber lists to venues for their marketing.

Cookies and optional analytics

Analytics is off until you accept it. You can reject analytics and still use the site and all forms. Use Cookie settings to change your choice. We remember that choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days; if storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page.

After acceptance, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_XVQ9T6Q33M to distinguish visits. We configure their duration to 180 days; active use can renew them. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Our own analytics events exclude email addresses, message text, search text and URL query strings. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics off.

Rejecting after acceptance stops future analytics from our tag and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site. It does not erase information already received by Google. Browser settings can also clear stored data. Changing devices or clearing storage may require choosing again.

Unsubscribe and email preferences

To stop all WatchF1 marketing emails, send an email to hello@airfreshmarketing.com saying “Unsubscribe from WatchF1.” Use the address you subscribed with, or identify that address. No account or fee is required. Requests are handled manually; this link opens an email and does not itself complete the request. We may retain a minimal suppression record to avoid emailing you again.

Email updates are still being established. A successful signup confirms receipt of your request, not delivery of a newsletter. Cookie choices and email consent are separate.

Your information and retention

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your submission, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern using the contact above. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to receive a copy, restrict or object to processing, appeal a decision, or complain to a relevant privacy regulator. We may need to verify a request without collecting unnecessary information.

Submissions are currently held in our service-provider records and team inboxes and reviewed manually; there is no automatic account-deletion system. We retain information as needed to handle requests and the updates you choose, maintain suppression records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Deletion requests may require action across providers and inboxes; backups and legally required records may remain for their applicable retention periods.

Children and security

Our email and submission features are intended for people aged 16 or older. Do not submit a child’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted details so we can investigate and remove them where appropriate. Venue admission ages and alcohol rules are set by the venues.

We use HTTPS and limit information requested by forms. No online service can promise absolute security. Please use the contact above to report a security or privacy issue without sending sensitive information.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the updated date. New purposes that require consent will require a new choice.
