Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026: start time and how to watch

The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19 to 21, 2026, at night on the Strip. Unlike most rounds, the race runs on a Saturday night: lights out is 8 PM Pacific, 11 PM Eastern. Below are the session times in every US time zone and the UK, how to watch in the US, and where to find a crowd.

Apple TV carries every session

Apple holds exclusive US rights to Formula 1 from 2026. Practice, qualifying and the race stream with an Apple TV subscription, and Apple makes all practice sessions and selected race weekends available without one. Plan your weekend

A night race, a different schedule

Most Grand Prix weekends run Friday to Sunday in the daytime. Las Vegas moves everything a day earlier and into the evening. Practice 1 and Practice 2 run on Thursday night, Practice 3 and qualifying on Friday night, and the race on Saturday night. If you plan around a normal Sunday race, you will miss it.

For the West Coast this is the most convenient race of the year: an 8 PM start on a Saturday. In the Mountain and Central zones it is a late evening. On the East Coast, lights out is 11 PM, so the finish runs past midnight. If you're watching at a bar in the East, ask how late it stays open on Saturday and whether it will keep the sound on to the flag.

Las Vegas is round 21 of 23. It comes two weeks after the Brazilian Grand Prix, and Qatar and Abu Dhabi close the season after it. The full schedule lists every remaining session in Eastern and Pacific time.

How to watch

How to watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix in the US

From 2026, Formula 1 in the United States is on Apple TV. You watch in the Apple TV app on an Apple TV box, an iPhone or iPad, a Mac, a smart TV with the Apple TV app, or a web browser. Before race night:

1. Check what this weekend includes. Apple makes every practice session and selected race weekends available without a subscription. Its official F1 viewing guide says which sessions need the subscription this week.

2. Note the day. Qualifying is Friday night and the race is Saturday night. Put both in your calendar in your own time zone using the table above.

3. Sign in early. Install the Apple TV app on the screen you'll use and sign in before the weekend, so you aren't updating apps at lights out.
