Plan your nights

Tips for watching race week in Vegas

Think in nights, not days. Practice 1 and 2 run Thursday evening, Practice 3 and qualifying Friday evening, and the race Saturday at 8 PM. If you are used to a Sunday race, move your plans a day earlier.

On the Strip or off it. F1 Arcade Las Vegas and Cabo Wabo Cantina are on the Strip, Grand Prix Plaza is just east of it, Circa is downtown on Fremont Street, and PT's Pub is a local tavern on West Flamingo. Pick based on the crowd you want and how you plan to get there on race night.

Bring the crew. Hosting your own gathering in a suite or rental instead? Our F1 watch party ideas cover the setup, food and a race-day checklist.
